skyline windows played a key role in the restoration and conversion of the historic t building in queens, a recipicient of the 2022 lucy g. moses preservation award. originally constructed in 1938 as the triboro hospital for tuberculosis, the 10-story building was transformed into 125 affordable housing units as part of a city-led rehabilitation effort. skyline supplied custom-designed series 100 double hung windows in a brown exter finish, series 1700 terrace doors, and custom louvers, seamlessly blending historic preservation with modern functionality.
this project stands as a testamanet to skyline’s expertise in retrofit and rehabilitation, preserving history while enhancing building performance.
