remembering david kraus
1925 - 2017
We remember and mourn David Kraus, 92. He passed peacefully in his home in Manhattan on Thursday, December 7th 2017. Founding father to Skyline Windows in the Bronx, where he was born, World War II-era Navy Veteran, and patron of the arts. David was a patriarch, an ocean sailor, boat builder and sculptor. He was a man who lived his life with undying passion and enormous compassion. He will be greatly missed.
David will be remembered by many, including his loving family - wife Susan; children and stepchildren Steven, Kenny, Emily, Leslie, Brett and Jed; daughters and sons-in-law Nanci, Francesca, Mark, John and Deborah; and 10 grandchildren: Matt, Laura, Drew, Julia, Lauren, Joshua, Hunter, Ryan, Jack and Max.
